 Empower yourself. Define yourself. Accept yourself. Love yourself.

Journey through the words written in my journal. Words that carry me through my darkest days. Words that give me a semblance of understanding in a world impossible to fully comprehend. Words that fully express what I wish to say, yet never muster the confidence to say.Words that console me in moments of weakness. Strengthen me in moments clouded with doubt and despair. Words that allowed me to experience pride in a season of shame.

Use these words, words cloaked in pain, sadness, joy, pride and scars. Use them to see the beauty, splendour and blissful nature of the short life we’ve been given.

And if they give you as much power, identity, acceptance and self-love.

Well, I’ll be glad.
